Today marks a significant step forward for Miso.

We have acquired Zignyl, a restaurant operations system, accelerating our vision to build the AI infrastructure for modern restaurants and hospitality operations.

Zignyl is being integrated into our Zippy product, combining AI and LLM intelligence, connected device data, labor forecasting, employee incentives, task management, and real-time insights into a single restaurant operations platform. Together, Flippy and Zippy form a more complete AI ecosystem for the modern kitchen.

Makes Flippy Better

This acquisition extends the power of our AI-powered Flippy Fry Station robot into the palm of restaurant and hospitality operators’ hands.

Expands Our Data Capabilities

With Zignyl’s direct integration partnerships into major point-of-sale systems like Toast and PAR, this acquisition expands Miso’s reach across the restaurant technology stack to benefit Flippy and all of our products.

Adds Customers, Talent, and New IP Immediately

The entire Zignyl team joins Miso, our IP portfolio expands, and our product development accelerates.

Miso CEO Rich Hull said: "Miso’s platform creates new behaviors that operators quickly realize they can’t live without. Zignyl is already driving new revenue for customers today, and represents an incredible expansion of modern restaurant behaviors into Miso’s technology platform."

Zignyl Founder Matt Forbush added: "We’re thrilled to join Miso, one of the most recognized restaurant technology brands in the U.S. We’ve spent years building AI tools that help frontline teams think and act like owners. Now, together with Miso and Zippy, we can bring that value to the entire restaurant ecosystem."

Together with partners like NVIDIA and Ecolab, Miso is powering the future of modern restaurants and hospitality.
